I am a qualified hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner, and Kinetic Shift practitioner based in Lowestoft.
Before becoming a hypnotherapist, I spent most of my working life in the construction industry, originally as a tradesman, and then as a site agent / tenant liaison for two large construction companies, working primarily on social housing projects throughout East Anglia. It was while in this role that I became aware that as well as voicing their concerns about the building projects, tenants would often talk to me about their own personal issues, and I would offer advice and support wherever I could. My colleagues at the time would often joke that I should become a therapist, and though I thought about it, at the time I had a young family to support, so re-training for a new career wasn't a viable option.
Once both of my sons had grown up and were making their own ways in the world, I decided it was time to do something that I'd been thinking about for a number of years. As I'd always had an interest in hypnosis and the power of the mind, and having read a number of books on the subjects over the years, along with my desire to help people, I decided to train in hypnotherapy and NLP.
Since completing my training with one of the most respected training schools in the country, I continue to be pro-active in my own professional development, completing further training courses that are relevant to the field of hypnotherapy, and to the needs of my clients. This enables me to provide a professional service with a comprehensive range of techniques and skills.
